I can't believe I haven't played Cave Story before. It pretty much meets my requirements for an awesome game: insanely fun gameplay, rewarding challenges, ridiculously catchy music, and a memorable story. Can't wait until it comes to WiiWare.
I'm such a big fan of it now that I made some bead sprites of Quote and the gang. I'll post those soon.
Hey, the sprite's are decent and all, but they're edits. Only fully scratch sprites are really allowed on Deviant Art, according to their terms of service and such.
If you need hosting for edits, Photobucket works, and there are plenty of websites and irc chatrooms on which you can show off stuff and get comments and such.
I will feel compelled to report your stuff, if you don't take care of them, since they do violate DA's rules and all.
